The listing process
The formal process for admission to listing is as follows:
- The listing document is submitted to Oslo ABM, normally by the manager of the issue
- Oslo ABM reviews the listing document and gives written feedback of the result of this approval process. The inspection and control of the listing document are deemed to be complete when the document satisfies the requirements, and this process must be completed before the loan can be admitted to listing
- Application is made for the loan to be listed on Oslo ABM (no later than 15.00 hours on the day before the first day of listing)
- The loan is admitted to listing (no earlier than the day after it is subscribed)
- The listing document is published at the time of the admission to listing.
A new issuer will be required to provide certain items of information additional to those mentioned above before its first loan can be admitted to listing.
Oslo ABM may take up to five working days to provide its response to the first draft of the listing document. However, it is normally possible to give a response earlier than this, and Oslo ABM does its utmost to ensure an efficient, but nonetheless thorough, inspection of the documentation.
